Kandiyohi County Drug Free Communities (DFC) Coalition Parent Survey Results 2012-2013
The Kandiyohi County Parent Survey was administered to 747 Kandiyohi county parents from July 2012 to July 2013 by the Kandiyohi County Drug Free Communities (DFC) Coalition. The Coalition wanted to gather parents insights, thoughts and perceptions of alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana and other drugs. The KC DFC Coalition will use the information to assist them in continuing to educate the community regarding substance use/abuse and the work they are doing. The survey was available in three languages (English, Spanish and Somali) as well as online and on paper anonymously. - 93% of parents think marijuana is harmful and
- 96% of parents consider underage drinking to be unacceptable
