The Kandiyohi County Jail
is staffed by 56 full-time Correctional Officers; five
full-time Transport/Correctional Officers, three full-time
Bailiff/Correctional Officers, three full-time Programs Staff with a
Program Director, and five full-time Sergeants. The jail staff
is supplemented with contract staff from Public Health, Food
Service, and Programs with Programs utilizing volunteers to help.
Support to the jail staff
is provided by jail administration, which includes the Jail
Administrator, the Assistant Jail Administrator, and one clerical
support personnel.
The jail provides the
Correctional Officers numerous hours of training so that all
correctional staff is equipped with the necessary tools needed to do
their duties through the course of a day.
