REQUIREMENTS:

Effective January 1, 2007 no Marriage License Applications will be accepted after 4:00pm daily.

	Both parties must be present to submit the application. (eff. 8/1/09)
	You must have a license purchased before getting married.  License is only good in Minnesota --- cannot be used in any other state.  License must be used within six (6) months or it expires.  There are no refunds available for unused licenses.
	To obtain a marriage license (without parental consent) you must be 18 years of age.  Be prepared to present valid identification.  Also need to provide Social Security numbers.
	There is a five (5) day waiting period to obtain the marriage license.  No blood test or physical is required.
	If you have been previously married and are divorced, you must provide the Divorce date including the place of termination and court where terminated.  If you are widowed, please provide the date and place of death.

Fees:	$115 without premarital education. (effective 7/1/10)
	$40 with completed and signed Educator's Statement of Premarital education presented at the time of application.(effective 8/1/07)
	No out of state checks accepted.
