Kandiyohi County Commissioners have awarded bids to refinance two existing bonds. Refinancing a $4million bond issued in 1998 for the Health and Human Services Building at a rate of 2.13% will save the county $940, 898 over seven years. The county has also refinanced a $1,375,000 highway bond that will save the county $64,347 over five years. Kandiyohi County received a AA rating from Standard & Poor's Credit Markets, which is its second highest.
