Flu Clinics

The single best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated each fall.

Kandiyohi County Public Health will offer seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccinations at our regularly scheduled clinics. The cost is $25.00 for the Flu shot and $30.00 for the FluMist.  Kandiyohi County Public Health is unable to bill private insurances or Medicare.  If you are under 18 years of age and are uninsured or underinsured you qualify for Minnesota Vaccines for Children vaccine and can receive your flu shot for $10.00 as supplies last. 

The H1N1 vaccine is offered at no fee if you are un or under-insured. 

We also encourage you to seek vaccination with your primary care clinic physician, or seek out one of the many public clinics that are offered around the Willmar area if you have insurance. Those public clinics are able to bill your insurances for the vaccination.  You will find many of them listed in your local paper or by checking with your local pharmacist.  You may also check mdhflu.com to search for any flu clinics near you.  If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at 320-231-7860, we would be happy to help you.
