Intake and Referral Services: Intake social workers answer phone calls and meet with the general public to provide information and referrals regarding any/all services available to address identified needs. Individuals needing Family Service services will meet with an Intake Social Worker to complete an application for services. The intake worker is also available to explain the reporting statues, answer any questions regarding agency practices and services and discuss resources and strategies for individuals, family and community.

All Child Protection and Vulnerable Adult reports are taken by the intake social workers.

An intake worker is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and can be reached by calling Family Services at 231-7800 . There is also an On Call social worker who is available after hours and on weekends. This worker can be reached by contacting the Sheriff’s Department at 231-1260.
