Recent Crimes in Kandiyohi County  CRIMEALERT

KCSO is investigating the reported theft of over 590 market size hogs from a hog operation in southern Kandiyohi County. Country Pork reported in August 2011 that they discovered the loss while loading out two barns at a rural site. The theft is believed to be part of a larger theft spree involving similar hog thefts in Nicollet Co, Fairbault Co, Yellow Medicine Co, as well as Mitchell Co, IA and Lyon Co, IA. Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call the investigation unit at 320-214-6700 ext. 3366.
