Willmar, Minnesota – The 16-year-old runaway girl was located in Benson on May 2, 2012, at approximately 10:30 AM.  Thank you to the public for their assistance in trying to locate her.  

Willmar, Minnesota – On May 1, 2012, at approximately 8:00 PM, law enforcement received information that a young female individual, matching the description of the reported 16-year-old runaway, was seen crossing Highway 12, approximately three miles east of Benson, heading south on a township road, while driving an ATV. 

Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and Swift County Sheriff’s Office are still actively searching for the runaway female. 

Again the description of the female; she is 5’5”, 105 lbs, brown hair, and was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, blue jeans, and white/pink colored tennis shoes.  She was driving a green colored Suzuki four wheeler with registration number 395WA.

 Willmar, Minnesota - The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, along with the State of Minnesota Fire Marshal's Office, is currently investigating an explosion and fire that took place at a residence on the northeast side of Big Kandiyohi Lake.  Kandiyohi County Sheriff Dan Hartog is releasing the name of the individual who was found deceased in the house; that being a Daniel Ray Rustad, 64-years-old, from the Lake Lillian area.

The investigation into the cause of the explosion and fire is continuing.
