Errors and Omissions:  This is a working index and may contain errors and ommissions due to errors in the preparation of the original document or in the indexing.  Since January 1, 2004, all documents recorded will only be found in the computer tract index, the manual tract index is no longer updated.  The manual index is considered the Official Tract index through December 31, 2003.  It is recommended to search several different ways for each property, such as by both "quick seaerch" (party name), and an "advanced search," (combination of legal description and other pertinent information).

On Tapestry you can access:  Grantor/Grantee index as well as Legal Description index from January 1, 1987 and scanned images from the mid 1800's to present.  Manual tract indexes are available for research at our office from the late 1800's through December 31, 2003.  As of January 1, 2004, the tract indexes are available on the computer.

Images:  The images are authentic reproductions of the actual document and the quality is usually good.  However, certain colored inks on original documents do not reproduce well.

Index and Verification dates:  The general rule is that the grantor/grantee (or party) index, tract index and image are available 2-3 working days after being recorded.  There are occasional exceptions due to high recording volumes or equipment issues.
