Seasonal road restrictions protect roads during the spring thaw, when road strength is at its lowest point of the year.

The State Law governing seasonal load restrictions in Minnesota has changed, so please note the following changes: All non-posted County paved roads are restricted to a 10-ton per axle load limitation, all non-posted County unpaved roads are restricted to a 5-ton per axle load limitation.    For more information see Minnisota Statute 169.87
