CSAH 4

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW)

Kandiyohi County proposes to reconstruct County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 4 between U.S. Highway 12 and CSAH 10 to improve pavement condition and widen the road to Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) State Aid Standards. Two segments of CSAH 4 would be realigned, including a segment currently routed through Diamond Lake County Park, and a segment of CSAH 26 at the intersection of CSAH 4/CSAH 26. These roadway segments would be realigned outside of their current right-of-way. Due to the construction of over one mile of new roadway, a mandatory EAW is required under Minnesota Rules 4410.4300, subpart 22(A).

The EAW is available for public review and comment starting on January 15, 2018. The County will accept written comments on the EAW during the public review and comment period, which concludes Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Written comments should be submitted to Jeremy Pfeifer, Kandiyohi County, 1801 East Hwy 12, Willmar, Minnesota 56201. Electronic/email comments may be submitted to Jeremy.Pfeifer@kcmn.us with CSAH 4 Reconstruction EAW in the subject line. If submitting comments electronically, please include name and mailing address.

The EAW is available for public review at:
